Quality and traceability
We do not rely on certificates we do not hold. This page lists what we inspect, what we record for every line, which tests are done by independent laboratories, and where our responsibility ends.
What we inspect on every order
Incoming material is inspected in-house against a documented checklist before it is packed for you.
Labels and paperwork
Manufacturer label, MPN, quantity, date and lot code against the order and the packing list

Original reel, tray or tube; moisture-barrier bag seal, desiccant and humidity indicator for MSL parts
Markings
Part marking, logo and date code against the manufacturer’s marking scheme where available
Leads and body
Lead condition, coplanarity, oxidation, scratches, re-marking or resurfacing signs
Quantity
Count or weigh-count against the label
What we record for every line

Manufacturer, full MPN and quantity as received.
Date and lot code
Recorded as marked; never changed.
Origin and channel
Country of origin as marked and the source channel.
Photos
Incoming photos of labels, packaging and parts.
Records are kept for 3 years from shipment. Copies of the records for your order are available on request.
Laboratory tests, when the order needs them
For independent-source material, older date codes or high-reliability builds, we recommend tests by an independent laboratory. They are quoted as separate lines before you order.

We are an independent sourcing company, not an authorized distributor of the manufacturers named on this site.
No in-house accredited lab
Laboratory tests are done by independent laboratories. We do not issue test reports under our own name.
No guaranteed supply
Availability, price and lead time are confirmed per enquiry. We tell you what we cannot meet before you order.
Documents and claims
- Certificate of Conformance on request: what we inspected and recorded, not a manufacturer certificate
- Manufacturer CoC only when the source supplies one; the quote states whether it is available
- Defects must be notified in writing within 30 days of the invoice date
- Rejected material is handled under the conditions in the quotation and order documents
- Original packaging is kept; we do not re-reel, re-label or re-mark
Quality questions
Can you guarantee that parts are genuine?
No independent source can guarantee that for every lot. We state the channel, inspect and record what we receive, and recommend laboratory tests where the risk calls for them.
Which inspection is included in the price?
In-house visual inspection and records are included. Laboratory tests are quoted as separate lines.
Can we send our own inspection requirements?
Yes. Send your incoming inspection specification with the RFQ; we confirm what we can meet before you order.
Do you follow AS6081 or IDEA-STD-1010?
Our checklist draws on the checks those standards describe. We are not certified to them, and we do not claim to be.
